Simone started her career in physical production, working with many of the leading independent production companies at the time, including Stephen Cannell Studios and Outlaw Productions among others. After serving in a number of production roles on films, television and commercials, she obtained her juris doctorate from UCLA. Following several years at a large, national corporate law firm, the burning desire to return closer to the creative process led her to MGM where she acted as Senior Counsel in the theatrical business affairs department, and where she handled an array of development deals, including Heartbreakers, Bandits, Hart's War, Windtalkers, and Barbershop. She went on to serve as General Counsel and Head of Business Affairs for Winchester Films, an international independent feature film finance, production and sales company. Currently she runs her own business affairs practice representing producers, writers and talent. Simone gives special thanks to Cyxork and Kommander 88 for helping quash her former corporate identity and bring her back to the creative arena of production. (The Cyxork made her say this.)
